P3, W7, Rough, A Moment
In order to find a searchlight in my dilemma, I would like to describe a moment earlier to be stuck in between darkness and cooking. It must be a moment earlier. It might be a second before happening. It should be a part of a spot of an edge of a cliff.
P3, W7, Rough, Cooking without Seeing
An idea from cooking in the dark, I try to describe a cooking moment in terms of sensory experience without seeing/tasting.
> the smell of cooking (or kitchen):
spicy, sweet, hot, smoky, flowery, fresh, alcoholic/fermented, green, citrus, savory, buttery, earthy, sour, fruity, burnt, acrid, pungent, garlicy, clean, rotten
> the texture of cooking (or kitchen):
smooth, rough, creamy, chewy, crunchy, soft, fibrous, tender, tough, pasty, sticky, oily, slimy, fluffy, jelly, crisp, hard, liquid, rotten or rotted, wet, dry, flaky, cold, hot, frozen, stuffy, stifle, crumble, rub
> the sound of cooking (or kitchen):
chopping, grinding, dishes, smoke alarm, sizzling, scraping, stirring, cabinets, opening/closing, pots and pans clanking, gas stove makes a sound when you turn it on, timer, microwave, water running, water boiling, steam from kettle or through the lid of a pot (hiss), crackle, fizz, splatter, clang of spoon on pot, clamp of lid on pot, sounds of refrigerator or ice maker in freezer, whisk, cracking an egg, simmering sound of a stew or something thick (different from water boiling), pouring liquid ingredients

How can I visualize a behavior of experience of cooking without seeing?

blur a boundary of things, fuzzy edge, pixelation, finger tip senses, sound, atmosphere, spatial depth, trials, flow of slow motion, breathe slowly, survival game (have a fun in desperate condition), increase complexity (humidity/heat/ingredients mixing)

I have whole lotta of lessons from the class criticism yesterday include ambiguity of nature of “interface.” What is mean by “interest,” “surprise,” ”good, bad or weird,” “notion of wrong in the world of nothing is right?”

- symptom: fixed time, date, year as “10am/01/01/2090”
- cause: autorun.inf from USB disk driver
- effect: infinite active files such as 12343.exe, 842.exe eat a memory up in a computer. infinite log on and off crash a system in a computer and infinite “Ping” infect other computers in network.
- no vaccine developed

- 12 times smaller company profit than Toyota. 8 times greater employee profit than Toyota
- History: playing card and toy company since 1889, users like a complex game in 80’s but get tired of it in 90’s
- Strategies: market for female and family rather than male. theme for pet, brain work out, cooking, learning language. interactivity in family through entertainment and communication in different generations and cultures
- Value: software for people who need it.
- Future: open interactivity, tools in daily life, facilitator in family communication

4. Minimum-speed-guarantee
- Instead of unrealistic maximum-speed-internet connectivity service, internet service providers such as KT, SK Broadband, LG Powercom start to produce 30 Mbps to 50 Mbps in premium and 5Mbps in regular in the minimum speed guarantee service.
- User test a minimum speed via an inspection site.
- User can cancel the service if 3 of 5 are under the minimum speed without obligations.
Lesson:
Regardless reports from current News, I notice a growth of teenage market, a anxiety of invisible disease, a potential of small interaction, and an importance of reliability in contemporary and future media. How can design play a role in youth, insecure condition, small talk, worthy trust?
